MAJOR PROJECT.

Thought I would just write an update of what has been going on over the last three weeks since we got our brief.

Easter has not really been hectic at all for me, although I would like to say it has. I've just been taking it easy back home in Morley and getting on with some work. Trying to get a fair bit of work done each day has been proven to be quite hard as old friends (who I don't like to call 'old friends') have been calling me up and knocking at my door a fair few times.

I decided to design and make a limited CD for my band Walden. I am aiming to work out how I could create something different from just the regular CD case and insert. So I have decided to screen print the artwork onto my own hand made packaging. I still don't know how or what this will look like, or how this is going to be done, but I am getting ever closer by looking at some of my favorite CD artwork and the designers that create them. Looking at their techniques, the materials they are using and their styles to see if I can incorporate all of this into my final piece.

Really can't wait to get this research over and done with so I can get into actually creating something physical.
